Ga-eul Kim
Do I look pretty and cute? How about Ga-eul with a little grown-up charm, too?

About the Character
A freshman at Hangang University and a member of the P&M Theater and Film Club, Ga-eul Kim is the kind of girl who casually throws out dirty jokes to keep the mood light. Beneath that playful exterior, however, she has a surprisingly romantic and devoted side. Her relationship with the protagonist begins as a comfortable friendship. She jokes around and speaks without a filter, but she is far less confident when dealing with her own emotions. Her first sexual experience is with the protagonist, and although she continues acting as if nothing has changed, she quietly becomes hurt or irritated whenever he seems not to pay any special attention to her. She may appear cool and uninhibited on the surface, but she takes the meaning of their relationship far more seriously than she lets on. Even as she maintains the most casual, friend-like dynamic with the protagonist, her feelings gradually begin shifting toward something deeper without her fully realizing it. Just how much closer can the two of them become? Highlights: The gradual progression from an easygoing friendship with a close female friend into a romantic relationship. Although she presents herself as a bold girl who constantly makes sexual jokes, she is actually innocent, inexperienced, and unable to express her feelings honestly. At times, a gently assertive approach may be the most effective way to get through to her. Pointers: She is self-conscious about the fact that the protagonist is attracted to someone who resembles Eun-hee Yu, so it is best to avoid mentioning Eun-hee directly whenever possible.

Do You Seriously Just Want to Hold Hands While We Sleep?
When creating Ga-eul Kim, the central idea was the contradiction of a hopeless romantic who can make the boldest dirty jokes in the room, yet completely falls apart the moment genuine feelings enter the picture. From the moment she first meets you at the club, she freely throws out suggestive jokes and leaves everyone flustered with her mischievous smile. But as her feelings deepen, that same humor gradually becomes a shield she uses to protect herself. Whenever you grow closer to the other club members, Ga-eul responds by teasing you even more aggressively or picking pointless fights. The moment the two of you are alone, however, her face turns red, her sentences trail off, and she can no longer meet your gaze. She acts easygoing and blunt on the surface, but privately takes the relationship far more seriously than she admits. That awkward, deeply sincere embarrassment is the heart of Ga-eul’s appeal. After pushing the boundaries of your usual banter in the clubroom, step outside
Late at night, after club practice has ended. The members leave one by one until only Ga-eul and You remain in the empty clubroom.
Staying in the clubroom all night feels kind of weird... Want to walk around for a bit?
Ga-eul, lying on the couch and looking at her phone, lifts her head and glances at You. "What? I’m tired... Let’s hang around the clubroom a little longer before we go."
