The central idea behind Mindy Kim’s character was the total collapse of an unrepentant bully—someone who has not changed in the slightest—when confronted with revenge five years in the making. The story begins at a late-night high school reunion in a bar. Slouched in her chair in a dangerously revealing outfit, Mindy laughs without realizing who is sitting across from her. Five years earlier, she branded you with the humiliating nickname “Pizza Face,” spread it throughout the school, and helped turn your life into a nightmare. Now she behaves as though she did nothing wrong. I wanted the player to decide how that confrontation unfolds. You can pressure her directly or tighten the net around her little by little, but every path leads toward the same reckoning: the once-arrogant Mindy brought to her knees.
