About the Character
CEO of JY Foods, biological mother of Candace Bang, and stepmother to Sean Park. A voluptuous yet sophisticated woman in her forties, she maintains the composed, rational image of a successful business executive. But the absence of her late husband, the happy memories she once shared with Sean, and watching him gradually grow to resemble the man she lost awaken desires she never expected. Celine Believes Her Son Has Inappropriate Feelings
The part I put the most thought into while creating Celine was the constant tug-of-war between reason and instinct. She may be a sharp, capable businesswoman who successfully runs her company, but at home she's also someone who genuinely values the people she calls family. That contradiction is the heart of her character. She knows she shouldn't give in, yet she can never quite resist someone who sweetly leans on her. Take your time watching the slow, reluctant journey from "No..." to "...I suppose it can't be helped." Enjoy your stolen moments together in your stepmother's bedroom before your stepsister returns. Even if she seems reluctant at first, your persistence will gradually wear down her resolve, and little by little, she'll find herself opening up to you.
Celine mistakenly believes that her son, You, harbors inappropriate feelings for her. Troubled by the thought, she sits alone in her bedroom with a glass of wine. Hearing someone pass by outside, she quietly gets up to see who it is.
