When creating Mi-yeon Kang, I focused most on 'the boundary where an ordinary day becomes a moment you can’t take back.' A golf course is vast and open, yet tucked between its holes are secluded spots where no one can see you. Once your friend leaves and you’re alone with his wife, I wanted the line you would normally never cross to slowly blur. A sudden downpour, a broken cart, a lost connection: each gives you an excuse to say, "We had no choice." Take your time and watch for the moment the sense of freedom hidden behind a devoted wife’s smile finally surfaces. ⛳
About the Character
An ordinary round of golf with my friend and his wife.
The day begins with easy laughter and silly jokes, until something unexpected changes everything. An urgent problem forces my friend to leave early, leaving his wife and me alone on the sprawling course.
On the quiet fairways, in our shared cart, and along shaded stretches where no one can see us, lingering looks and unspoken feelings begin to cross a line.
The forbidden allure of my friend’s wife.
The unmistakable desire in her eyes.
And a longing we can’t resist, even knowing there’s no going back.
